Key Responsibilities
Phase 1
-Work closely with the Strategic Sourcing Group on project and build out vendor service contracts, such as consultant services, design and build out contracts all in compliance with procurement methods.
-Development of project requirement brief and identify procurement process and implementation strategy.
-Selection & engage Professional Team such as Architects, Engineers and other specialist Consultants, as required.
-Establish and engage with Steering and voluntary committees to establish space and design needs and collaborate with design partners to enable the build out design to meet with the space demands but within the REW design guidelines. Identify opportunities to enhance productivity through the design review and implement the best in class design solution
-Conceptualise, plan and conduct various engagement forums such as roadshows, polls, surveys and reviews to enable higher participation from employee groups
-Coordinate Test Fits and Block Plans, through to detailed space-planning and design layouts
-Monitor, track and report overall project progress, identify and mitigate any risks in the overall quality and timeline of the project.
-Identify all change management needs and collaborate with all functional teams as necessary, ensuring a smooth transition
-Manage the project budget, reconcile to meet the approved funding and regular status reporting to team and corporate finance.
-Coordinate a detailed project programme and timeline (in MS Project and PDF) integrating developer, base build team, various interior works packages, including IT programme, and essential dependencies and milestones, as necessary.
-Ensure proper Liaison with Landlord / Local Authority regarding any permissions or Licences are received to undertake works.

You will be working on your own on this project, mentored by experienced technical staff and/or an R&D manager.
Your role will be to research our internal and any available third party crash handling utilities and provide the needed
information so a decision could be made if we should enhance our internal facility or replace it with a third party
provided one. Next you’ll have to implement the needed modification to our own or integrate the selected third party
crash handling utility into our application framework without any regressions in terms of crash handling compared to
our existing facility. The final result should be that during any kind of a crash in a process executing a binary based
on our application framework a corresponding core dump is successfully generated where we’ll focus on crashes
caused by stack overflows, access violations and out of memory conditions.

used for this information and how pros and cons are evaluated.
2. Code quality – the most important part of this project is that the resulting crash handling facility, once running, is
extremely reliable i.e. it shouldn’t crash itself under any circumstances. The latter is the responsibility of the
developer and he/she is encouraged to employ any applicable approaches to achieve the latter including
thorough code coverage with unit tests, strong static typing, static asserts, static code analyzers, bounds
checkers etc.

3. Implementation correctness – crash handling utility should create crash dumps according to the defined file
format for the corresponding OS as a result of any of the crash conditions. The latter will be measured by running
the corresponding crash dump analysis tools against the produced crash dump files.
4. Design quality – Design quality is taken very seriously in the vmacore team. Any changes that have to be made
to our application infrastructure will be thoroughly reviewed by at least two members of the vmacore team who
will later provide their evaluation on the overall design.
5. Team work – an important part of our work within VMware is interacting with our customers (which in our case

Summary:
As a key member of the FAST Adoption, Change Management, and Training team, this individual will be responsible for delivering training, change management, and adoption activities for projects and also provide on-going training on applications utilized by the Field Sales organization. Responsibilities:
- Represent FAST ACT on project teams, delivering best practices on Adoption, Change Management, and Training to the Project Leadership.
- Interview Key Project Stakeholders and Project Management to determine Adoption metrics and measurements, Training timeline and deliverables, and to plan the Change Management timeline and deliverables, including approval mechanisms.
- Maintain Project Plan for ACT Team deliverables on project, updating Project Team and management as appropriate.
- Develop, create, and maintain training documents - including Cheat Sheets, presentations, and training scripts – interviewing appropriate project members to determine process inputs for training materials in both English and Japanese. Participate in CRP and UATs to better understand deployment deliverables and create training materials. Provide UAT Training as a testing ground for end user training. Manager, R&D, leads a group of software engineers in the creation of software programs for internal and external (commercial) use. Manages the coordination of the activities of a section or department with responsibility for results, including costs, methods and staffing.

Manager, R&D, makes key technical architecture and development decisions for the development team, and provides technical leadership and mentoring for team members while maintaining a very hands-on development role.

Responsibilities:

- Plans and executes multiple projects at a time in coordination with the management and successfully guides and reviews the engineering group through all phases of project development.

- Receives assignments in the form of objectives and determines how to use resources to meet schedules and goals.

- Provides guidance to subordinates within the latitude of established company policies.

- Recommends changes to policies and establishes procedures that affect immediate organization(s).

- Supports and motivates a team of direct and indirect reports (14 or less) to best support departmental strategy, goals and performance objectives.

- Establishes recurring communications to understand business as usual operations, to assist with securing resource help, to provide guidance and to relay senior management expectations.

- Guides staff in the execution of daily activities. Coaches and provides career development advice to staff.

- Establishes team and employee goals. Conducts regular employee and/or team performance reviews.

- Schedule and conduct recurring staff meetings, including 1x1 employee meetings.

- Performs staff scheduling to include: work assignments/rotations, employee training, overtime assignment, and shift rotations.

- Recruits Talent. Develops and coaches people. Builds VMware team.

- Ensures that department performance and quality goals are duly met.

- Communicates regularly with senior management on team’s activity, attitude and performance.

- Effectively communicates and interacts with teams at the functional level across departments.

- Provides overall accountability for team performance.

- Helps the team on design by doing the following, while holding the team accountable for producing the needed documents, specifically:
o Breaks out the pieces of the job for each team member.
o Works with team members on the processes from which they will produce the design documents.
o Reviews and tailors those design documents to fix them back and forth.
o Holds team members accountable on all of the above, while making each member responsible for an individual piece of the project as the lead on that piece.
o Ensures the design is coming together.

- Makes presentations to customer or client audiences or professional peers.

- Provides assistance to testers and support personnel as needed to determine system problems.

- Participates in development of long-range planning for new projects and facilities.

- Provides general administrative support to the organization as appropriate.

- Performs other related duties incidental to the work described herein.

- Erroneous decisions or failure to achieve results will add to costs and may impact the short-term goals of the organization.

Qualifications:
